Functional and holistic nutrition focuses on the root cause of imbalances in the body. It encompasses a whole-body approach including nutrition, proper hydration, gut health, cellular and mitochondrial function, detoxification, balancing your circadian rhythm, adequate sleep, nervous system regulation, and healing trauma. When we create a healthy environment for the body through nourishment it allows the body to intuitively heal and thrive.
Nutrition is arguably the most important aspect of our health. I have seen so many clients significantly improve their health from changing their diet alone. It’s the first place to start because food is not just calories, its nourishment for our body. Each time you eat it’s an opportunity to consciously nourish your body so that it has the nutrients it needs to function optimally and thrive.
Conversely, there are a lot of foods that cause inflammation and add to your toxic burden. Food can have a major impact on a variety of health problems such as digestive issues, fertility, metabolism, skin issues, energy levels --- the list goes on.

As part of a root cause approach, we will look at lifestyle factors that may be impacting your health such as lack of exercise or sunlight, a disrupted circadian rhythm due to excessive blue lights, poor sleep, unresolved emotional trauma, or stress due to not living in energetic integrity.
After understanding your current health goals and concerns, I work with you to help identify underlying imbalances in the body that can be resolved through functional and holistic nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplementation, detoxification, and reconnecting with light and nature. The mind-body connection is equally important and I believe to fully heal we often need to address physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
My goal is to help you feel your best and achieve optimal wellness whether you are dealing with a chronic illness, looking to conceive a child, or just want to do everything you can do to live a healthy and vibrant life.
